What Does The Acura P1519 Code Mean?

This code indicates the condition that key on or engine running; and the PCM detected an unexpected voltage condition on the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve control circuit.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura P1519 Code?

Below are some potential causes of this DTC:

  • IAC valve circuit is open, shorted to ground or to system power
  • IAC valve power circuit is open or shorted to ground
  • IAC valve is damaged or has failed
  • PCM is damaged
