OVERVIEWWhat Does The BMW P1413 Code Mean?
The Engine Control Module detects a short circuit when activating the secondary air injection solenoid valve.
Note: Solenoid valve is closed when no voltage is present.
What Are The Potential Causes Of The BMW P1413 Code?
Below are some potential causes of this DTC:
- Connector to the secondary air injection valve is loose or disconnected
- Secondary air injector valve circuit short
- Secondary air injector valve circuit is open
- Faulty secondary air injector valve
