Conditions for Setting the DTC. Engine speed changed from below 300 rpm to over 500 rpm when the vehicle speed is 0 km/h (0 mph) and the Park/Neutral Position (PNP) switch indicates an open or a low voltage to the PCM (R, D, 2 or L gear positions).
