Engine started, and the PCM detected the Transmission Fluid Temperature (TFT) sensor indicated more than 266ºF for 7 minutes during the test.
What Are The Potential Causes Of The Chevrolet P1812 Code?
- ATF level is low or the fluid is burnt or contaminated
- ATF filter is clogged or not properly installed/seated
- A/T line pressure is low (check for clogged cooler lines)
- ECT sensor is contaminated or out-of-calibration (skewed)
- Engine is overheated
- Radiator
