What Does The Jeep P1251 Code Mean?

Ignition on; solenoid commanded ON. If the ECM does not detect a voltage signal on the Vacuum Reservoir Solenoid control circuit, this DTC will set.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Jeep P1251 Code?

  • Intermittent condition
  • ASD Relay output circuit is open
  • VR Solenoid control circuit is open or shorted to ground
  • VR Solenoid or ECM has failed
